Paul Anthony Jones

B.Arch. Hons. AIA

Paul is the principal and nominated architect for Oceanarc. Born to the local area at Lismore, Paul studied Architecture at the University of Sydney and completed his Bachelor of Architecture with Honours at RMIT Melbourne. Paul worked with Graham Ormsby Architects Sydney (now dwp International), DCM architects Melbourne, Aukett Associates Architects London, ESPAD and AT Systems Architects Tokyo before returning to Byron Bay setting up a sole practice in 1996.

Amy Campbell

BArch Born Perth WA, Amy completed a Bachelor of Architecture at the University of Western Australia in 2002. After working for a time in Perth, Amy relocated to London working for several enjoyable years including time with the office of Martin Ashley Architects, commissioned to such extraordinary projects as St George's Chapel, Winsor Castle, and Hampton Court Palace. Retuning to Australia Amy has chosen to live in the local area, designing and building her own home whilst balancing her career aspirations with those of raising a beautiful family.

Amy believes in an architecture that strives for beauty through the creation of warm, functional spaces. She maintains the firm belief that architecture should be both financially realistic and environmentally sustainable.

Oceanarc Architects Byron Bay has evolved as a local practice over the past 15 years from various inputs centred on the principal architect Paul Anthony Jones and collaborative works with Grant Amon Architects Melbourne, JTC Architects, Blue Architects, dwp architects Sydney and local designer Ron Johnson.

Experience is drawn from international, metropolitan and local practice with work in London, Tokyo, Sydney, Melbourne and Byron Bay.

Our studio is centrally located in Byron Bay and well equipped with the latest technology and expertise to ensure professional services and timely project delivery.

Our work encompasses residential, commercial and civic projects whether they are wholly new construction, renovations, alterations, additions and/or restorations.

As registered architects we comply with the provisions of the Architects Act and NSW Board of Architects Code of Professional Conduct.
