Apartment No 7

The Links Apartments were an innovative mid ‘90s multi – residential development design by renowned architect Ian McKay located adjacent to the Byron Bay golf course. Having remained untouched for 25 years apartment 7 was ready for renewal. The concept was for contemporary simplicity, ease of flow, warmth, spaciousness, light & ventilation.

The new design feel was equally informed by contemporary South American and Scandinavian interiors – a feeling for sub – tropical light, ventilation & garden with the warmth, and relaxed friendliness defined in the Danish word hygge meaning a mood of comfortable conviviality.
